Controller Chopper 2 for Mac with iPhone
Nov 30th
The Mac version of Chopper 2 will allow you to use your iPhone/iPod Touch as the controller. Controlling a Mac game with a iPhone/iPod Touch isn’t new but it hasn’t been used much. I did a review of the pinball Mac game controlled with a iPod Touch. It’s something that is really exciting to me. The way all these devices interact just add to the experience.

New iPod Touch with Dual Cameras and Retina Display
Sep 1st
Apple finally decided to release the iPod Touch with a camera. I have been waiting for that feature for some time. Not only did they add a camera but they added one to the front and back. It gives you the ability to use FaceTime like on the iPhone over wifi and also shoot HD video to share with family and friends. The iPod Touch is also getting the retina display. It keeps it in line with the iPhone 4 but will also bring those higher resolution games to the Touch. The last new addition is called Game Center. Game Center is an app that allows you to compete with friends on apps you have downloaded. You can unlock achievements and see how you rank against your friends.
The new iPod Touch is $30 more at $229. You can read more about the new features at Apple.
Review: Pinball Remote for iPhone/iPod Touch
Jul 8th
GameProm, the same people that made the Pinball HD app for the iPad, have a Pinball remote app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. At first I thought it was a remote for the iPad version but it’s a remote for the desktop version of the app. I thought it still sounded cool so I thought I would give it a try. A little video demo below:
Overall I really liked the Pinball remote. The controls over wifi felt instant and it was a breeze to setup. Even with the lag of the game board every so often it didn’t interfere with game play. The app is free and you can play wild west for free. That right there is hours of entertainment. If you want you can purchase the jungle and blue sea directly from the iPod Touch.
Video: 12 iPod Touch Display
Jul 7th
12 iPod Touches to display the video and a 13th to start the video. This is a very expensive way to watch a video but it looks awesome. Video below shows it off.
