If you have $5,000 to spend on a computer you can order the 12 Core Mac Pro. It’s now available for purchase. You could always buy a single processor and cut the price in half but who would want to do that. I have been using a Mac Pro for the last year at work and have been really happy with it. It’s 8 cores and I put 12GB of memory. If you need plenty of power the Mac Pro has it. I test multiple OSes and constantly have RDP sessions and ARD going.
